THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ

A storytelling show of ‘THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ’

I am in the final stages of adapting and creating a new 45minute storytelling production, of the classic story by L. Frank Baum.

It is ideal for small audiences of somewhere around 30 in number. It will be best suited to family (Adults as well as children) audiences. The show can be performed in intimate venues such as a parlour or drawing room of Hotels, Stately Homes, Country Houses or Community Halls etc. The production is presented in front of a semi-circle of chairs (no stage), just like parlour entertainment of bygone years. Venues can have several hourly storytelling sessions, running consecutively during the day to increase revenue. Tickets for a similar performance we in the region of £10 adults £6 children,

It can also be simply adapted for lounges of elderly residential care homes. Sor Primary Schools it would be best suited in the school hall. It can be performed for individual year groups.

It involves props and fun audience participation, where each member of the audience will have the opportunity to become an integral part of the story, by getting involved in the fun and overall enjoyment.

All the regular charterers are present, Tin Woodman, The Cowardly Lion, The Scarecrow and of course Dorothy and Toto, Aunty Em, Uncle Henry and the four good and wicked witches and the magical silver shoes. Not forgetting The WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ himself, as the costumed narrator.

It’s going to be thoroughly enchanting fun family entertainment and should be ready for launching by Easter 2019. If you would like further information, contact me on 0783623299.
